Sandra Hall and our judo family |
Sandra Hall - A Lady of many talents, and with what would appear never ending time or heart for judo, Sandra has never been on the mat to play judo in her 20 years of being around judo, but she has always been on the sideline. She attends every competition that our members are in regardless of where they are or what time it is, Sandra runs our club in the day to day operations with out a problem, but there is more too her that most see, as she is also the Administrative director for Judo Queensland, our State body, Sandra also handles the day to day activities of this as well, she process all communications, registration, insurance, judo trips, most functions, complaints and complements, all for the love of judo and the kids, Sandra is totally voluntary, with a very understanding husband. She also works full time as well and maintains a great relationship with her three grandchildren and family. Kyushin and Nuforce are very proud to have here with us. Our thanks to families of our supporters of our judo family's. The wives, husbands and children who understand the time and comments given by our members. |

Our Parents |
Our parents, friends of parents and grandparents are in never ending supply if the call for help is made, we have parents who have and would again run canteens, competitions, fundraising, BBQ's, and anything else thrown at them, usually with about 5 minutes notice and they have always done an excellent job. They support their children by always being there at training, competitions and social events. They have alway been a great asset to the club and would not be able to function with out them. Thank you to all of our parents for making our club what it is. |

Our students |
Our students are the reason why we are here, we feel that we have a great club with students that do judo for judo, there are no winners and no losers, we all do judo because we like to do judo, this is a big part of the "judo spirit" in our club. Our Clubs have a high attendance rating at most competitions in South East Queensland and compete very well, we had a 13 students who were placed in the Nationals last year, and some who have been overseas for training. We usually fare well at most competition having competitors ranging from 5 years of age to 40 years, A lot of our students (like Mums and Dads) are just happy to train for judo, and we are very proud of them for being on the mat. Again our club would not be here if it wasn't for the students, and it would not be as great for us if they were not the way they are. Thanks. |
